Zaza Soccer System is a complete soccer program based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Our philosophy is to achieve early development by teaching fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and winning personalities for players as young as 4 years old. We have developed a unique technique utilizing scientific tools such as physics and biomechanics to enable us to achieve our objectives.

Our work is demonstrated in [ Soccer Mechanics ] iBook (digital book format only).

We believe in developing soccer skills that players, parents, and fans enjoy by either playing or watching.

ZSS offers a variety of soccer skills at individual level, group level, and for both basic and advance club teams.

Soccer School (Academy): This soccer skill training program is designed for anyone who is interested in starting or continuing soccer skills. ZSS accepts both boys and girls ages 4 & up. Sessions are held twice a week. Days and times are posted upon field availability. All training including team practices are held in an air conditioned indoor facility.

Team Training: This program is designed to train select club teams, recreational teams or school teams.

Private Lessons (1 on 1): This one on one training program is designed to teach basic as well as specific advance skills. Coach Zaza will evaluate all players on their first lesson then formulate a training plan that will improve all or specific skills. Zaza will teach all players to recognize their mistakes and know how to fix them (iBook content). Coach Zaza's soccer program addresses detailed information of the mechanics behind the 5 skills (dribbling, juggling, crossing, passing, and shooting). This program is off-line, and can only be viewed when puchasing the book.

Summer Camps: This is a fun way to start or to continue learning and playing soccer in the summer time. We accept players of ages 4 and up

Zaza Soccer System (ZSS) Academy is based on the concept that soccer is dribbling, juggling, passing & receiving, and creating space with and without the ball. These basic skills are present in every player’s arsenal.

ZSS approaches soccer with a scientific magnifying glass. We use simplified forms of physics and biomechanics to explain why the body and ball behave as they do, and to explore the endless possibilities resulting from contact between a foot and a ball. Once this knowledge is transferred from coach to player, the player will gain problem-solving skills—the ability to recognize and correct mistakes and adjust as he or she learns. Although we use physics and biomechanics in our teachings, coaching is simplified so the players will only learn by application.

Philosophy: Teach soccer so that players enjoy playing and onlookers enjoy watching.

Academy Skills:

DRIBBLING: Almost 50% of all skill sessions are dedicated to learning how to dribble the soccer ball. This is the basis of a successful soccer player. ZSS will focus on body movements, running, ball contact, foot & eye coordination, stopping and turning with the ball, and manipulating ball rotation and directions. This basic skill is learned using simple soccer equipment (a soccer ball).

JUGGLING: Around 25% of all skill sessions are dedicated to juggling. This additional multi dimension skill adds to the success of a soccer player. We learn the basics of juggling using the most effective techniques. ZSS's philosophy is quality of the touch in form of control and soft power. After all, during a dual with an opponent, a soccer player will need the ability to touch the ball once or twice in the air to gain control of the ball. Players will learn how to be calm and focused on the objectives as well as learning to touch the ball to the correct height and distance. All players will learn juggling with feet as well as how to use body parts to complete a juggle or to adjust a juggle. ZSS will focus on body movements, foot & eye coordination, and manipulation of ball rotation and direction.

PASSING: 15% or so of the academy is spent on passing. Although our main focus is to teach young players how to keep the ball, and not give it away, we teach passing using ZSS techniques. All players will learn how to approach the ball, how to make contact with the ball, and how to use their body to effectively and accurately pass the ball to a target. We learn passing into space as well as to the feet. We let this skill develop naturally. It will not be enforced during scrimmages or games. By passing the ball in a natural environment, the players will also learn other fundamental skills such as receiving and creating space.

SHOOTING: 5% is dedicated to shooting. Shooting is part of playing soccer. This will happen naturally when members play in scrimmages or in-house games. Shooting the ball is a skill for players that enjoy scoring goals. Shooting is a hard skill to learn, many things have to be learned in a sequence in order to be effective. All players learn the basics of how to create angles, run to the ball, how to generate power and where on the foot as well as on the ball contact is made. A skilled player learns the correct technique by learning the importance of the adjustment step.

SPEED & AGILITY: 5% of all sessions are dedicated to speed & agility. This is a crucial part in development of body athleticism. Although ZSS's focus is on ball touches, we introduce speed & agility training with and without a ball at an early age. We train on keeping the ball close to our feet regardless of how fast we run, and what turns we make.

Technical Classes

Technical Classes program is a new training concept developed by Coach Zaza. Learning what is, where on the field, when to and how to, will enable the players to make decisions that will set them apart from the run off the mill crowd.

Fall and Spring classes classes are on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Each class is 30 minutes long with the focus on one skill at a time. The skill is learned in stages with copmpletion tests in order to move on to the next level. Data of player credential will be available and accessible on the website. A player's ID will be given to all players to shield their identity. The information can only be matched when combining the ID with the full name of the players. It's only accessable by Coach Zaza and the player.

There are three levels in each skill. Players will receive secrets of each skill. Secrests that would take years to develop are learned in few minutes.
